Position Summary:
Provide financial assistance and administrative oversight of day-to-day operations. This is a part-time (15-20hrs/wk), non-exempt entry level position reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/NEON Database/CampDocs
• Post cash receipts to financial software to customer accounts daily
• Prepare Bank Deposits
• Process Accounts Payable weekly noting proper G/L account distribution
• Process via database software payments/invoicing for historical information
• Prepare monthly billing for Preschool customers through CampDocs/QuickBooks
• Prepare event options via NEON for event registration via website
• Prepare weekly disbursements coordinated with Director of Finance and Administration
• Monitor G/L for proper account distribution
• Assist in the preparation of all 1099 forms for contractors
• Assist in the preparation of all accounts assigned for annual audit review
• Reconcile QuickBooks to NEON Monthly
• Prepare reports as assigned
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, accounting degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial and general business management preferred
• Advanced knowledge in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• Must be motivated, a self-starter, and a team player
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized
• Must maintain a level of confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and a process improvement mindset
• Impeccable ethics and reference
